Kensington Resort Seogwipo – FAQ for International Guests

Q. How can I use a taxi?
A. You can use a taxi by downloading the Kakao T app and signing up. If the app is difficult to use, please contact the Front Desk.
We have the phone number of a local taxi company available for you.

Q. How do I use a map service?
A. You can use the Naver Map app to search for routes.
Set “Kensington Resort Seogwipo (684, Ieodo-ro, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do)” as your starting point, and enter your desired destination. The app will guide you via public transport, car, or walking routes.

Q. Is there an ATM in the resort?
A. Unfortunately, there is no ATM inside the resort. You can withdraw cash at E-Mart or a bank located about a 5-minute drive away.

Q. Is there a supermarket nearby?
A. E-Mart Seogwipo Branch is about 5 minutes away by car. If you would like to experience a local market, we recommend Seogwipo Olle Market, which is about a 20-minute drive from the resort.

Q. Can I rent a car or book a taxi tour?
A. The resort does not offer car rental services. However, our Front Desk can assist you in contacting a taxi company.
Prices vary depending on the number of people, date, and duration, but typically start at KRW 160,000 per day.

Q. Where is the nearest beach?
A. Jungmun Saekdal Beach is approximately 15 minutes away by car. It’s a great spot for swimming or enjoying a view from a scenic café.
If you prefer a more local experience, Gangjeong Stream flows next to the resort and is a popular spot among residents.

Q. Is daily housekeeping provided?
A. For guests staying 3 nights or more, we provide one housekeeping service after the second night. Towels used during the day are replaced with fresh ones every afternoon.

Q. Is room service available?
A. We do not provide room service. However, a convenience store located on B1 (Basement Level 1) is open 24 hours.

Q. Can I do laundry during my stay?
A. Yes, self-service washing machines and dryers are available on B1 for a fee. They are accessible 24/7. Please note that only card payment is accepted.

Q. Is there a shuttle or bus to the airport?
A. We do not operate an airport shuttle. However, you can take Bus No. 600 from the airport at Gate No. 5, which will take you directly to our resort.
For the return trip, you can take the same bus from the stop across the street from our resort entrance.
The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Please note that cash is not accepted, so be sure to prepare a transportation card (physical or mobile).
When boarding, let the driver know that your destination is the airport.
